He doesn't try to always seem polished, sometimes being raw is so much more powerful than a perfect commercial sound but he can do that too as you will see!!

Welcome to "!hype and the Hollywood Church." We have been making music now for 33 years! We have made five albums, two of them double albums/CDs and soon to release our sixth CD which will be the last. At the end of 2012, the band will end and new projects will be started. We own our own record company so we struggle more than ever to keep going, especially as of late - but as a band we keep going - now for almost 33 years! Our music ranges from hip-hop, to dance, pop, R&B, urban, rap and we throw in some rock and jazz. We have no limits. We are NOT a religious or gospel band, but we do some gospel energy once in awhile and include spiritual insight in some tracks; actually, we have been labeled one of the most controversial and most musically stylistic changing bands ever. Not only musically and lyrically but our lives and persons.
