Mz Lyrik is a rapper/singer/model. From Montgomery,AL has also lived in and reps Las Vegas, NV as well. She is the female that is much needed in the industry a HUSTLER. Why this name?
Cuz first I'm a poet. People said I acted weird like Lyric from Jason's lyric the movie so people started calling me that and it stuck to me..
Do you play live?
Yes I do perform live I cant wait to do it with a live band!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Yes and no. I think it's pretty cool the internet because to say I'm independent but have fans in places like the netherlands and canada some places I've never physically visited thats cool. Cuz I would never meet those people without the internet. But it kinda cuts out the actual meeting people which I like to meet all different types of people that's the negative. I even see downloading as positive bcuz itz exposure..So pro's and con's!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes if offered the right type of deal I would.
Your influences?
R&B classic stuff, as well as new, gospel, Hip-hop, rap, reggae, salsa, classical, sometimes country (I love the stories!) I love something about all genres of music if I can feel it.
