The Dream Project was the brainchild of Romanie Garcia and Julie Chow that spawned during the year 2000. With Garcia in Fiji and Chow in Singapore during that period, the two songwriters collaborated on tracks and released two albums, "Dancing Amongst The Flowers" (March 2000) and "Crying On The Side" (Jan 2001).

Currently, both Garcia and Chow are pursuing solo ventures.

Why this name?
Originally titled "Dream", but then a girl-group in Japan came out with that name (before the days of the American girl-group), so the duo lengthened the name to "The Dream Project." Why dream? Because the plan to pursue the dream, for the love of music and lyric rather than pop hit factory.
Do you play live?
They've never performed live, although Julie will occasionally play an old Dream Project track now and then.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Both of the albums were originally released on-line, so essentially, it's a great way to distribute music to the fans, directly.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe yes, maybe no.
