3rd World consists of 6 emcees who want to make a change in not just the hip-hop world, but the whole music industry...back in july of '05, Emcee's K.I.D. Prolifiq, Supa Squalid, Oblivious, C4 and Grafix met together and were talking about how horrible the state of Hip-Hop was in...They all were recording separately but not really taking it serious until this meeting happened and they decided to put their creative energy together and start a new group...by the end of the meeting, "3rd World" was the new name...they were from 3rd World countries(Colombia and Jamaica) so it felt right to name the group that..In August of '05, 3rd World began their first mixtape in Morristown, New Jersey..unfortunately, because of legal troubles and scheduling conflicts, the first mixtape titled "3RD WORLD: IT IS WHAT IT IS" was mostly featuring K.I.D. Prolifiq, Oblivious, and Supa Squalid...Despite the absence, they still held it down and built a strong fanbase in Morris County....Fast Forward to 2006 and 3rd World is stronger than ever...the New Mixtape titled "P.R.O.B.L.E.M." will be out and they have linked up with Nu Jerzee Noise who host many club events and shows...They also have added a new member and producer: Amateur...His style and lyrical creativity brings a whole other flavor to the already talented team of Emcees...along with Take Over Productions, the sky is the limit for these young wordsmiths and due time, will have their shine and their voices heard throughout the industry....

Just like we promised...the new mixtape from 3.R.D.(formerly known as 3rd World) is now out and will be heard throughout the 973 and beyond....so much work went into making this mixtape work...hours of sweat and frustration and tons and tons of stress made this whole work possible....we must have spent over 100 hours in that f***ing basement in morristown completing this project, and the great thing is, we're goin back to do another one just cuz we love this hip-hop shit.
