NEWS   "I'll Run Back Home To You" was inspired by a 300 year old aria written by Bach that was just recently discovered in Germany. The manuscript was difficult to read, but the first 5 notes were displayed in a magnification shown in the newspapers. I used those 5 notes as a motif or theme to expand on and create the song.
> My latest song, "The Summer's Gone" was composed on the keyboard, then later arranged adding strings, flute, timpani, harp, etc. The arrangement is still under production and the finished product will be uploaded when completed.

I am a former tenor saxophonist and played professionally for over 30 years. A physical problem forced me to abandon the saxophone, but my love for music led me to study piano about 15 years ago. I do mostly composing now.
Why this name?
My mamma gave it to me.
Do you play live?
Not anymore.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Wow! I wish it were available 40 years ago. It was so hard to promote original music then. The door is wide open now for new artists. Fantastic!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I don't think I'll have to worry about that at this stage of the game.
Your influences?
I love all forms of music, but I am more into easy listening and jazz.
Favorite spot?
On the golf course with my sons.
Equipment used:
Yamaha PSR293 keyboard with MidiNotate Composer software.
Anything else...?
After many years,I just became re-motivated a few months ago to begin composing again. The reason?...I use MidiNotate Composer for creating and editing my music. I can use it to sequence the parts I can't play, and to work up the printed parts for those I do play acoustically. It's awesome! You can download a free MidiNotate Player, or a free 30 day, fully functional trial version of MidiNotate Musician or MidiNotate Composer at -https://www.plimus.com/jsp/download_trial.jsp?contractId=1668869&referrer=harbor1

Use it to check out the sheet music for some of my songs on the MidiNotate User's Community Forum at http://www.notation.com/cgi-bin/discus/discus.cgi. You can also use it to view and play the sheet music for any midi file.
