The Rest Of Our Lives
Animal Farm is Bloomington, Indiana's phenomenal power-pop rock foursome! Their unique sound comes from an intense love for such 60's groups as the Beatles, but takes its edge from more modern indie groups like Superdrag. Melody is always key in the songwriting process. Known for their charm and all-around rock out factor onstage, the group brings in the numbers.....especially the ladies!
Why this name?
Blur lyrics I sung in middle school, long before my naive ass knew there was a book.
Do you play live?
Wherever possible....currently touring/playing with Sadie Hawkins. I love women.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's a fast way to send your song to people, yet I don't know anyone who actually buys cds anymore, sadly.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If they were truly in it for the music and not to whore me off as another Avril.
Band History:
Ugh, I didn't date in high school, so my 4-track kept me sane. I got decent, a label discovered me at an open mic, and years later, after contless band members, I put out records people dug, and yea...fun stuff. Power pop, shake-your-head, shalala music that makes girls smile.
