Jon Wynken is comprised of Jon LaFrandre on keyboards, bass, and lead vocals; Wynn Ostrander on lead guitar and lead vocals; Ken Henson on drums, percussion, and vocals. Jon Wynken is from the beautiful city of Winter Haven, Florida and plays the best covers from current, classic, and 50's/60s rock and roll as well as our own originals.
Why this name?
Jon Wynken was created while searching for a band name. Our first practice went really smooth and everyone had a really good musical connection. So we used our first names to create our band identity... Jon Wynken... Jon Wynn Ken).
Do you play live?
We are currently preparing our new song list for live gigs. We will have a variety of old and new rock & roll including our own songs. We play at local clubs and bars as well as at private parties.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It opens the door for more musicians. The availability of songs, tab, and chord charts really changes the whole scene by providing more opportunities to young players.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Band History:
Jon and Wynn have been playing together for several years and have known each other for many years. Ken was invited to a practice on Friday, May 20, 2005 and the rest is history. Everything fell in place and we immediately put together several songs and recorded them.
