Thirteen Seconds the name, is a reference to bad things. Thirteen is an unlucky number as we all know. One of the things we explore in our music is the bad things that happen to us along the way. And the biggest part is how we either overcome it or don't.

We play on 6th street in Austin, and any where else we can.

I believe it has greatly help promote indie artist, but if not checked and balanced it will ruin the music industy. Sooner or later it will not be fesible for some bands to be able to make music and survive.

Thirteen Seconds is about these five members. We all started out as individuals on our own paths. But now we have teamed up and travel this road together. We travel it through our music, those few moments when you hear something you have created effect not only yourself but someone else. That makes all the hard work worth it.

Thirteen Seconds the band, is and will always be about the five of us. Each member has their problems to overcome. Along with the bands problems as a whole. Just like everyother human being. And again our music ties to this central factor of how we look at and get over those problems.

Thirteen Seconds the sound, is a blend of each members influences and aspirations. We are influenced by everything from In Flames to The Used. Each member has their own. But again we have come together and now we have the thirteen seconds sound. We love hard music, but then again can go acoustic or clean to convey a different message.
