If there would be a saying such as "Born with music in its veins," this would aptly describe TREADSTONE.

Composed of Nadj Zablan on Vocals, Alon on Guitar, Paulo Morales on Bass and Yowi Zablan on Drums, our band plays positive hard rock and roll music.

"Our love for music, and our love of expressing ourselves through this art are the main reasons why we're here right now, to see and be seen, to hear and be heard on what we feel, on what we have to say, on what we can do to help others, through rock music," says Nadj.
Why this name?
We put a different meaning to the words TREAD and STONE, meaning which states “Leaving our marks or footprints on stone, never to be erased from the face of the earth.” It is our goal, our mission: To leave a good lasting mark to every listener’s heart and soul for as long as they live.

Do you play live?
Most definitely! We have a regular gig every Wednesday at Makati Republik, it's right at Metropolitan Street. We also played a in a lot of rock joints, like Station Grill, Gweilo's, Purple Haze, Hard Rock Cafe, Alky's Bar & Grill, A-Venue, Mag-Net, Mayrics, Caliente, LKG Towers, Airstrip Bar, Booze Stop, Starmall Mandaluyong and San Ildefonso Parish. These experiences led to special moments like earning achievements up our sleeve such as being the Greater Manila Area Champion of The Red Horse Beer Muziklaban 2006, and being one of the finalists for Yamaha Asian Beat 2005, to name a few.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It opens windows to a lot of bands even individuals, who want to make themselves heard easily, through music, being a universal language that bridges one nation to another. This tool, if used correctly and properly, could unite the world as one.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, of course.
Band History:
Each one of us actually hailed from different bands, but when we chanced upon each other years after, picked up all our instruments, we just gelled instantly.
Your influences?
U2, Audioslave, Creed, The Beatles, The Doors, The Rolling Stones. Our hometown heroes include Wolfgang, Razorback, Kjwan, The Dawn, and Bamboo. Anything that's rock and roll!
Favorite spot?
Nothing in particular...just take us where nature is.
Equipment used:
Rock band instruments: Guitars, Basses, Drums, Percussions
Anything else...?
It’s all about spreading a good message to everyone through our music, through our songs that talk about faith, and faith in crisis, along with social issues, or even things that can happen should we do this or that. We feel the need to let everyone know, and be aware of everything that is happening around us. Thus, we use our songs to communicate; music, being a universal language that can bring us together, that can further become a tool for love and peace.

GOD BLESS ROCK & ROLL!\m/
