The band name? Really.. I don't know. I was just sitting up at about 5 o'clock in the morning with a two liter bottle of Coke. Thinking.. And finally I thought to myself.. Three words that best describe the band.. Nothing more perfect then Amateurs Lacking Talent.. 'Cause that's what we are. lol So yeah. It just so happens that it makes a pretty cool acronym too.

At the present time we’re going to be focusing more on putting songs together. But give us a couple of months and we’ll be playing anywhere that will take us.

In my opinion it makes it better. It lets the listener get a feel for the band before they go out and spend $20+ on an album. It also exposes them to a wider variety of genres and artists that they may not have had a chance to enjoy if mp3's weren’t around. It helps band that are just starting out get their music out to the public. I mean.. Sure. Musicians and record companies may lose some money here and there because of it. But they also make up for it in merchandise, and gigs. I don’t think there is anything wrong with mp3’s.

Would I do the thing I enjoy doing most of all for money? .. I don't think I need to answer that.

Well.. We're just getting started here. We've jammed a few times together. Looking forward to some more jamming, song writing, and recording.

Other bands take up a huge chunk of my influences. Moods. People. Surroundings. Life situations. Pretty much anything.
