CURSES! You've found the secret lair of OLD SCRATCH, where we're stockpiling our special brand of audio warfare until we decide that the time is right to make our move towards WORLD DOMINATION...and WORLD DESTRUCTION.

HIP-HOP meets HARD ELECTRONICA in a knock-down, drag-out, Double-Hell Electrified Barbed Wire Deathmatch. Fast, complex battle rhymes over psycho-delic beats, just like Mom used to worry about you listening to.

Demonic Sonics. Satanic Verses. What more do you need to know?
Why this name?
Heel heat. That's basically it.
Do you play live?
We're working on new music before restaging live shows, but it's our intent to be playing out often in the near future.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Free and legal distribution of music, controlled by the artist themselves, is a great way to find new music...a better way than p2p programs, as you can actually browse charts and find new acts based on what else you like. The ability to home-record and internationally distribute demo recordings online has especially affected hip hop and electronic music, blowing open the doors, letting tons of good acts (and some really shitty ones) out.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Let the buyer beware.
Band History:
Great minds run in the same gutter.
Your influences?
Eric B and Rakim, Grand Puba, Goblin, Organized Konfusion, Ultramagnetic MCs, GWAR, De La Soul, Ice, Scorn, Heiroglyphics, Techno Animal, Meat Beat Manifesto, pro wrestling, giallo / zombie movies...culture high, culture low.

We've been told that we have some similarities to the following artists:

VOX- Dr Octagon, Rakim, Saafir, Organized Konfusion, Big Pun, LMNO, Heiroglyphics...
BEATS- Meat Beat, Premier, Scorn, RZA, DJ Hi-Tek, Goblin, Bill Laswell, Spectre, Public Enemy

...but really, we kinda think we sound like ourselves.
Favorite spot?
We live in New York City. For a reason.
Anything else...?
