The name is D Hall. I got the name when I was a a youngin in high school. It's just my first initial and my last name put together.

I was heavily influenced by my older brother and my fathers choices in music. I came up on MC Breed, Biz Markie, Das Efx,Grand Puba,Chubb Rock, Yo Yo, Ice Cube and alot of ol' School rappers. If it wasn't rap then my father was exposing me to artist in various genres like Prince, Hendrix, Bob Marley, and Anita Baker. So I guess you could say I have a wide range of musical influences. By the time I got to 7th grade in 96 BIG was killin em he was really the reason I started rapping. I was a big Bad Boy fan back in the day. Now a days i'm influenced by anyone who's creative and doing something different.

Favorite city would definitely have to be Detroit. That's where I was born and raised so no matter how many places I travel to Detroit, Mi will always be #1 on my list of favorites. Of course the favorite spot is the studio! Rain, snow, sleet or whatever I'm gonna find a way to make it to the studio. lol As a matter of fact when it was to dangerous to drive I caught 4 buses to get to the studio in a snow storm!
