My Light
Our music for anyone who enjoys hip hop and R&B music, without all the negativity. It talks about the raw truth of life, inside and outside the church.
Why this name?
It was inspired by the Raw truth inside and outside the church.
Do you play live?
We are looking to do performances at local churches to start, but would love to go to other cities.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it's great that music can be previewed before you buy, but it opens doors to piracy and other things.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Anything that could get my music out for people to enjoy.
Band History:
It has been a struggle to get the equipment and studio time to release this album. It has been a one man project since I started the album 2 yrs ago. I had to sell all of the equipment that I worked so hard for, just to press the CD's I have. Now I would love to make that money back, so I can start on my next album. I have put a lot of time and energy into this CD, but I only hope everyone can enjoy.
Your influences?
I listen to all christian rap, I love to hear all the new artist.
Favorite spot?
Denver, it has been a big part of my life.
