CAPTAIN FACE are currently conquering the Aberdeen area in Scotland. Drawing from a wide range of influences, they have developed a fresh approach to rock music.
Why this name?
The choice of band name was induced by a certain variety of fungi...
Do you play live?
We have had a few gigs in different Aberdeen venues, meeting with a good response each time. Our gigs are always eventful, with some form of mishap inevitably befalling one of us...
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Mp3 has changed the industry for better in some aspects - people can get to hear a lot of material they otherwise might not hear. Of course, established acts may lose out on cd sales, but should still have a large fanbase for touring.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes...as long as there is some kind of 'Bearded Clam' clause written in to our contract.
Band History:
A couple of guitar players began renting a farmhouse and decided to get a band together. Using a badger and medium sized wooden spoon they found a drummer, bass player and singer. CAPTAIN FACE was born!
