Usually just a POD. Sometimes I plug straight in to the soundcard, or I mike an amp into the POD. I have a strat, a classical guitar w/pickup that also works for percussion, and a bass (not the fish). The bass does have an airbrush of a largemouth bass, though. For my solos, I setup 7 Marshall stacks with 14 Shure SM57 mics and a drop-cloth for the ceiling tiles.
