Mary C. Evans- born December 25, 1965 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. I am the 8th child out of 11 children. I sang in Sunday Services at the age of 2 for Mother LuLu Williams. She would give me tea cakes in a brown paper bag after service. We located to St. Louis, MO in 1971, where my love for music grew. I was bused from the Inner City to school at the Visual Performing Arts Center. At this school, I learned many different cultures, styles, and kinds of music. We later relocated to Memphis, TN in 1978. I won Queen of my school, Miss Carver High in 1984. I performed an original piece on the piano and sang. I have ben married to my husband and producer Bobby Evans for 19 years. We have 3 children: two boys (21 and 14) and a four year old daughter. My husband and I married straight out of high school. We had no vision, purpose, or destiny together. We have been divirced and remarried 3 times. Even in our ignorance, diobedience, and shortcomings, God has still been merciful to us. God has given us an awesome ministry together through our personal experiences. I had an abortion at the age of 18 years old. I was troubled in my spirit for years. I did not understand what was causing this alteration in my personality. "Forgive Yourself" is a prophetic song. I dreamed it straight from Heaven. God delivered me and changed my life in this song. I am compelled to get this song to everybody. I know God gave me this song, because he knew I would not be ashamed to tell about myself. It is my responsibility to do everything I can; i am held accountable to give God's people a prophetic word from Heaven. Every song has a personal story behind them.
