A new electronic artist who writes all of the music on PC.
Why this name?
It was an old D&D character name that ended up getting used for just about everything online.
Do you play live?
Not yet, still working on enough stuff for a full set.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's a double edged sword. It grants immense freedom to listen to and download music by artists, the real question is whether or not people like it enough to buy it. That's always what determines if the artist has fans.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'm already with Dark Records
Band History:
I started mixing music using prefab loops in acid 3.0 almost 3 years ago. Most of that stuff sounds like ass in my opinion. Don't listen to it unless you want your ears to bleed. I stopped using loops about a year ago now, and started writing Midi files and piping them through VST plugins. The results are much better since everything's actually coming from me. I used to have a cheap kiddy casio when I was about 6, I remember the cheesy sound it had, and remember thinking, "Can I have a real one, Mommy?". Music's been part of me since then. In Junior high I played the violin and cello. Started tinkering on the piano when I didn't have to practice those, tinkered with a trumpet a little bit, too. In High school, I played Cello, and my friend Eric introduced me to his guitars, bass guitars and drum set. The drums are what I can still play well, followed by Bass guitar, then piano/keyboards. I personally think it's funny that my most fluent instrument, the drums, seems to be what I use the least in my music. The performers that have had the MOST influence on me have been Lynard Skynard, and VnV Nation, because of the energy they bring to their shows. They know it's the fans that make the artist, and that every ticket and album bought is a compliment to them far deeper than any words can convey. They know that every live show is about the Audience having fun, and that nobody at the show should leave feeling that something was missing or lacking.
