I'm a 24 year old producer from Iceland. I studied the piano for 8 years in a school and have been self-tought ever since. I began making music at the age of 8. I got in to it serously when I was 18 years old when I collaborated with 3 others in the making of a Drum & Bass E.P. "Voices inside my head" with my group at the time, "The Outrage". I Also Released a Drum & bass CD with My cousin Ciphah (search for "Kritikal Mazz" for our hip hop production). I began making Hip-Hop when I was around 18 and I haven't been able to stop!
Why this name?
Well, since my real name is Jakob Reynir, I thought it sounded nice. That's all!
Do you play live?
Yes, I do play live, all sorts of venues, clubs, ceremonies, I love playing live the most
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I don't really know. People, who download music illegally off the internet, are of course demolishing the industry. But I like the way of being able to buy songs, rather then a whole record, because today, band become famous for their individual songs, not albums.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yes, of course! who wouldn't?!?!?! hehe, seriously, I would have to look into it, regarding the contract at hand each time.
Your influences?
I like the ocassional ruff, riding gangsta style tune. But I mainly get influenced by such people as, Stevie Wonder, Quincey Jones, Michael Jackson, Ray Charles, and all the other soul classics I'm forgetting

New york, L.A., London, and my hometown of Reykjavik, Iceland
