The Gentz are from NYC. Currently, DeeDee Bache the Bass Player is makng a movie in Los Angeles while Rickie Lance Lane is recording his first Solo Album in NYC.
Why this name?
The band was originally signed to a record company called Parkside Records because the owners remembered the old Parkside Manor in the Bronx. hence the name the Parkside Gentz. Later we shortened the name to "The Gentz"
Do you play live?
Yes, we have performed at most venues in NYC and have toured extensively through Canada.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes music instantaneous, You hear a song you like and you can download it right away instead of waiting to go out and buy the CD
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
