i was born chico gonzales. my mother was in and out of the hospital due to a work related accident that left her disabled. my grandfather, being the racist that he was, refused to help either of us unless my name was changed. so at the age of two my mother changed it to trenton brown. it has become our little stand against rascism. she has always called me chico. and i've always accepted it as my name.

i love playing out live, especially house shows.
lately, i've been concentrating on writing more material so its been a couple of months since i "took to the stage."
i will never forget a friends basement show. where it was storming like mad outside and all the power went out. i played my entire set in a dark basement with about 30 kids scrunched up around me.
good fun.

there is the de-comercialization issue. but whats not to like about that!

i doubt they'd have any interest.
and in a lot of way's im thankful for that.
