We're a Heavy Metal band out of toms river NJ. Our main drive is to revive real heavy metal and to bring fans back to the days of Metallica, and Pantera. Carmen Ugaro was in a band called Cultivate The Grave back in early 2002. Things got retarted so he quit the band later rejoining with Mike Gutto in a similar band to this one called Grimoire. At this time CtG's old bass player, Nick Golkiewicz was in a band named Shackled Humanity along with Jim McGuire and Rich Horton. Mike was apparently not 100% satisfied with Grimoire and left to join Shackled Humanity as their 2nd guitarist. During all of this confusion, CtG's singer started a band named Defire along with a guitarist by the name of Kevin Stodolak who quit after being in the band for about a week. So now he has no band and i have no band. But before this time, back when Grimoire still existed, Carmen spoke to 2 kids at the mall. One sang, and one played bass. They asked these 2 guys to jam sometime, but mike left grimoire before they came around. So carmen arranged a jam session with Kevin Stodolak, Matt Reed, and Andrew Martins. All went well and they became a band the 1st day they jammed. And this is how the original ShadowcasT was born. Then Andrew was kicked out and Carmen quit when he was asked to replace Rich Horton former Vocalist/Guitarist of Shackled Humanity. 4 months later, Carmen quit Shackled Humanity. At This time Kevin and Matt had found a drummer by the name of Steve Boriello and had been writing original material for those 4 months that Carmen was in Shackled Humanity. They asked Carmen to come over and see if he'd join the band after hearing what they'd produced while he'd been away. He liked what he heard and rejoined the band. And Shadowcast was reborn!
