Why this name?

I'm the blender that twisted your mind with organic music. It’s been my MC name since around ’99, I’m used to it

Do you play live?

sure, why not...

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

Helps to get exposure, but it isn't everything you need to do to make an impact, just another way to show what you can do.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

sure, why not... (this is getting repetitive)

Band History:

Started my way trough hip hop since very young by
being a fan of the whole music/culture movement. Always interested in MC’ing,
started to mess around with lyrics at 1996, writing and spiting where my
favorite hobby back then.

Later, around 1998, meet some already experienced
MC’s that showed me a realer approach, content-wise, on what the lyrics should
say and what not, I used to look up to him like a mentor (Shoutouts Josue,
you know high school raps are the shit!).
I kept writing and polishing my
material, and knowing more MC’s that gave me some tips and whatever.

In the need for beats, I decided to give
production a shot around 2000-2001, didn’t lasted too long, cause there were
lot’s of production tricks I didn’t knew back then, so I decided to quit
producing. That until 2005, when I started to make beats again.

Right now I’m more focused about producing rather
than raping, because I want to step my production game up, and on the way try to
sell beats to get some equipment for producing propose. It’s just another way go
give back the love to hip hop and create the sounds I like.

Your influences?

My influences, on the beats I'll say Premier, Stoupe, 9th Wonder, Rob the Viking, Alchemist, Necro, the list could go on. Still I don't try to sound like any of them, I make my own sound, got my own vision about how a beat it's suppose to sound. On the MC department, Big Pun, Nas, Big L, JMT(on the VBD era), Arsonists, Swollen Members, Mr. Brady, among a few others. I don't bite tough, all about me it’s unique.

Favorite spot?

any corner of Puerto Rico, this is beautiful

Anything else...?

Every beat used on the beat samples and remixes for sale (unless it’s otherwise noticed); if you are interested in buying one, feel free to contact me on b_blender@hotmail.com or AIM with "Brain Blender PR".

Peace out familia!
