Why this name?
I ran track in high school. The coaches called me PB cuz there was anotha dood on my team wit da same name. Erybody called me dat, and I aint hate it. Its orginal, and ez to remember.
Do you play live?
Not really. I'm a beatmaker, so I stay behind da scenes. Das my thing nowadayz. In da cut jus makin moves.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes it a lot more available to a broad group of people, anybody really. You can be in North Dakota listening to some Game or Common. That's whassup.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on the money. If I could get more money hustling my beats and Naikie just killing my beats with his rhymes and singing, I'll stick with that. But as far as I'm concerned, I think it would be wisest to get the record deal so we could have more promotion, but like I said, it matters how much money is involved. I love music, and I'll take money so I can build up my equipment and make better beats than what I got, so it's whatever.
Band History:
2003- This black dood, Naikie, and a couple of his peers make a spoken word cd called "Truth". It catches PB's ears. it's ill
2004- PB gets FL Studio and starts making beats
2004- PB meets Naikie, they become good friends while running on the high school Track & Field Team
2005- PB and Naikie decided to start doing some collabo's
2005- PB meets a fellow beat maker at college, Big Neezy, along with other peers:
Helen aka Elle, Cal, Vick, T-Bully. They form an alliance, "EK"
2006- PB and Big Neezy come together to begin making collabo's.
2007- PB still doing his thing with over 33 Volumes of instrumentals (about 18 per volume) to show.
Your influences?
Paul- My music influence is everybody, I'm really telling the truth hear. I'll listen to Isley Brothers, Stevie Wonder, DJ Hi Tek, Timbalan, Nottz, Jay Dee, Kanye West, Dr. Dre, Kid Kapri, Delfonics, anybody, u name it, i've listened to it.

Naikie- Mos Def, Common, Yani, John Legend, anybody Paul listen to, we put eachother on to whateva we think is hott.
Favorite spot?
NYC, that's where its at. I really wanna push it Down South tho, they seem like they about they grind.
Equipment used:
well, anything to make a hott beat, loads of samples (although we won't post too many sampled songs on here, so dat means ya'll havent really heard our best). My boi Naikie records at Poorhouse Productions, big ups to DJ Supreme and Optix. Beats for the most part is made at PB's crib.
Anything else...?
I'm only 19 years old, I got madd charisma, peep my beats, be real, and just watch us (me and my crew), cuz we know howto make sh*** happen, we always get it live, we'll work with anybody who got rhythm and who can spit dat real shit, not just punchlines, we bout dem storylines.
