Johnnie Walker
We write, perform, produce, record and distribute our original music. It's not really acoustic rock, we try to be original from song to song. Some songs are just acoustic guitar and vocals, some are electric gutiar, bass and drums. It's all over the place.
Why this name?
Nate and Brendan are our names
Do you play live?
special occasions and good shows only!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
for the better of course. The more homegrown music that is recorded and produced in home studios the better. I envision a day when local artists get their music out and have a loyal fan bases all over the globe and do not need the financial backing of Capitol Records to do it. That being said, we'll take a recording contract:)
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the deal were lucrative for us and we retained all creative control from start to finish. We would also retain the right to record and produce it ourselves.
Band History:
We began working on our new album "Creation Lubrication" in September 03 and finished the tracking in November 04. We're knee deep in the next album production as we speak.
Your influences?
beatles, 60's rock, punk, hardcore, everything and anything.
