Why this name?
Mindstate of Black Brothers was the perfect name. As you listen and we walk you through tracks, its really just a trip down memory lane, and a glimpse into the future of our people.
Do you play live?
We only play live when we are invited. We have a true love for the music we create, and music in general, so we have a good time doing what it is we do. One moment that stands out is a performance we did for a local church/school anti-drug and violence seminar. To see the reaction of the audience, and the children especially, was an exciting and humbling experience.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet helps to spread music and give the underground artists a chance to be heard; raw and uncut, with no politics involved.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the opportunity presented itself, we would definitely turn an open ear to someone trying to help us advance and get ahead.
Band History:
M.O.B.B. started out as the Dynasty. A group of four young men, rhyming trying to make a difference. Over the years, we lost a few soldiers and gained some warriors. We are constantly improving and looking for ways to advance. The circle now consists of Lucky, Complex, and K1 S.N.I.P.A.

Rakim, Black Thought, Mos Def, LL Cool J, Tupac Shakur, B.I.G., Styles P, Jadakiss, Sheek Louch, Nas, Jay-Z, Twista, Common, Da Brat, Do or Die Psychodrama, R. Kelly, Outkast, Snipaz, Triple Darkness, Crucial Conflict, Ja Rule, Bone Thugs and the list goes on far beyond that.
