Cryptica is a 5 piece heavy metal band from Bristol, England, who have a dark and distinctive sound which sets them apart from other acts.
Why this name?
It defines our sound.
Do you play live?
not yet, will be very soon.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it makes music alot more accessable. If somone is interested in getting into a new scene or band it is incredibly easy as it provides easy access to the music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the deal sounds promising then hell yeh.
Band History:
most members met in high school as friends.
Your influences?
Heavy acts such as...Metallica, Cannibal corpse, Slayer, Megadeth, Naplm Death, Killswitch Engage, Chimaira and Hatebreed.
Favorite spot?
Bristol and Bournmouth, we hope to play there sometime in the near future as the metal scene there is huge.
