I grew up listening to all genres of music because my father listened to all musics. If it made his head bob to the beat or his fingers snap, he was hooked. Guess I followed in his foot steps. So naturally my style is eclectic. That means I got a song for all moods.
Why this name?
This is a temporary name.
Do you play live?
During the day, I work loooooooong hours. So I don't play live as of yet. A special moment for me hasn't happened as of yet...but I would love to make a living selling my compositions to a worthy band , singer or singerette. :)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
More bands/artists are exposed now, all with their own musical personalities. All with a different way of expressing their views. Cool beans, mannnnnn.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If a major label wanted my wares, then that's what destiny is all about.
Band History:
I started making music back in 2003. I first used my youngest sons Hip Hop maker after showing him how to use it. I have since moved on to Cake Walk, which is more in depth. It requires the user to actually make a song from scratch rather than connect pre fabricated loops like the Hip Hop maker. Both are fun to use.
Your influences?
Prince, Nirvana, BB King, Oing Boingo, NWA, Method Man, Black Sabbath, Patti Labelle, Johnny Guitar Watson, Duke Ellington, Bob Marley, Bruce Springsteen, Morris Day and The Time, Bootsey Collins, Grand master Flash.
