Cosmo Brown are Brighton's newest band. Sam jez and Pete are flatmates and have been playing acoustic gigs for a few years, we recently added Nick the drummer to our band and rehearse in our kitchen. Our music is quite upbeat and some people say catchy.
Why this name?
It came from the film singing in the rain, Cosmo Brown was the genius behind all of Don Lockwoods success, all dancing all singing legend.
Do you play live?
Our last gig was at the Freebutt in Brighton, we've also played The Volks and a few local pubs
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's the future, and you can't fight it!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Why not, everything is just a subsidery of something else.
Your influences?
It ranges from Jeff Buckley to Muse to The Police to The Cure, Oasis, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, PJ HArvey, etc
