My aim is to introduce the world to a very underground sound of possativity. I mix much of lyrics with attitude, aggression, and love. My fans mean more to me than this music does, so I want to be a possative aspect to their lives (without sounding boy band). I'm not sure how to really explain my style any other way (and who ever reads these anyway?), so just take a moment and listen to a couple tracks - I'm sure you'll be glad you did.
Why this name?
A friend of mine asked me if I had came out with a name yet. I told him I hadn't. A little while later we were talking again and he told me to call myself "eclipse". I liked they way it sounded, so I sat down that night and wrote it out a few different ways, and here I am, E Klipps
Do you play live?
I love doing live shows. I've only performed live once, I was opening for a hip hop clique "Resurrection and life". I had a great time, and peoples responce was intense, however, I decided that I would wait until my first CD was complete before performing live again... It's on it's way.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it's great, I truely do. See, the only musicians that seem to have a problem with it are the mainstream fly by nighters. I think the reason is that they can no longer just through together some lame music video with a bunch of hott girls, then sit back as kids buy up their CDs. Now if you want to sell albums, you have to give them more, and perform live...you know, WORK for it. For the typical musician, this is nothing new (infact the MP3 sites HELP them get their stuff out there), but for the mainstreamers this is unheard of and disturbing.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I can't say that I would.
I am an individual, and I don't think I could deal with people telling me what I can and can't release. Should a smaller label come to me, and allow for such a contract, I would surely concider it.

Favorite spot?
Anywhere I'm chilling with my crew. They always have my back, and I love 'em all like fam.
Equipment used:
I self produce a lot of my own beats now, I do this using FruityLoops. Should you try making beats with this software, I highly suggest downloading lots of good soundfonts, samples, etc. because most of the samples that are included are very techno-electronic.
