Frozen Embers is a four-piece heavy metal band centered in Omaha, Nebraska. Frozen Embers was formed in late 2004, but it remained solely a concept until March of 2005. Each member of the band has unique qualities in their playing and in their musical tastes which makes for an interesting finished product. Frozen Embers has been playing many local venues such as the Rock and Rebels and we hope to expand as soon as possible and bring metal to the masses. For more information, visit

Why this name?
The name Frozen Embers was chosen having paradoxical intentions in mind while the lead guitarist (Alex) was heavily into the band TRIVIUM, whose debut album is entitled "Ember to Inferno."
With those influences in mind, and an idea of how our music is, we decided it would fit us well.

Do you play live?
We have played a total of three shows at The Rock in Papillion, NE.
We hope to expand to other venues in the Omaha area and to eventually master our stage performance.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is an excellent outlet for promotion and for interaction with other people, and it's a great tool.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the chance arises, we don't see why not.
