MP3 music by Ensemble Mgmt. Christian artists is available for listening here. We hope our spiritual side shows the love of God in Christ Jesus.
Why this name?
Our band name just sounds cool. It was derived from the umbrella organization, Ensemble Mgmt. --and the nature of the music.
Do you play live?
Believe it or not, some of us actually do sing and play together in Colorado --apart from our recordings. We play at various churches and other events. The most fun we had was in doing our recording, "Old School Church - Vol. 1" available on our website.

Other EM Christian artists are almost clear across the nation from each other, and we collaborate online or by phone. Besides, a lot of our music, except for vocals, is electronic.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
A whole new world... An opportunity for anyone to share music with other folks.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Although we have not had a big run on the bank, we have definitely been blessed. Still, we are always accepting proposals...
Band History:
The leader, Chuck Abernethy, quit his "straight" job in 2003 and has been pursuing this loose-knit artist concept ever since. It's been a great ride, so far. We've been able to create and, in turn, lift up and experience some wonderful music!
Your influences?
Old hymns, spirituals and gospel songs. Mostly black gospel, but we're not necessarily excluding other music, especially originals. If it sounds good, it is good.
Favorite spot?
Denver, Colorado, our home
Equipment used:
Individual artists have home studios and/or music workstations that we use to collaborate and share music. The artists that don't have their own studios record with the ones that do. Just about all of us have a computer. We have all kinds of equipment: Roland Fantom V8, Yamaha Motif, Korg. On top of our workstations, most of us use SONAR recording software. Some drum tracks were started with PC Drummer.
Anything else...?
Wishing God's rich blessings all around.
