Encircle Sorrow is a melodic/darkwave/ambient project that carries influences from The Cure, Bella Morte, Akira Yamaoka(Silent Hill soundtracks), and others. Currently recording tracks for the EP "Death in A Minor", and eventually the full length "...In the Distance".

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has recreated the music industry. I believe music should be heard, before purchased. It's great to buy from bands you support, but I don't believe it should be treated as purchasing creative rights just to ENJOY a song. Making MP3s illegal is no different than outlawing national radio.
Your influences?
Akira Yamaoka, Glenn Danzig, AFI, The Cure, Bella Morte, Nim Vind...
Equipment used:
I use several electric guitars, a clean channel direct input, mixing programs, an acoustic guitar, and a mandolin. I'm not against using synths, but I prefer to produce the soundscapes by filtering strings.
