NEWS   07-15-04 - Last night I met a guy at the bar who apparently runs a multimedia company, and plays music locally. I gave him the URL for this page, and then went and put up a couple of not-quite-finished-but-listenable tracks just to give him a good demonstration of my style. I fully intend to take these down soon, but feel free to grab them while you can, and let me know what you think.

04-12-04 - "something like love" changed to non-mp3 download. It's pretty close to finished, i think (just like all my other stuff, I know), but there's still glitches to work out and more mastering to be done. So I'm gonna keep it up for listening, and if you REALLY want it for some reason, contact me and I'll see what i can do; but for a little while at least (hopefully not long), I'd rather not spread this version (but feel free to tell your friends to check it out here =D). If you'd like to be notified when it's ready for download, just drop me a line, sign up for the mailing list (very infrequently used), or leave a message w/your contact info on my board. Thanks.

04-09-04 - I emerge briefly from the basement that is reality to let anyone who might notice hear what I've been working on recently. I've always loved industrial music, and wanted to try doing it, but i hadn't had the mindset and inspiration until a week or two ago, and now I present an early draft of "something like love", which is a great deal angrier and different than most of the stuff I've done, but i'm very proud of it so far, it hasn't taken long, and it's almost done...but as always, I'm a feedback junkie, so listen to it, and feed me back, dammit!

01-28-04 - I'm really awful about checking this stuff, so sorry if I missed something from you. Anyway, I'm working on stuff, but nothing new and solid right now, so cruise over to Wreckless Beats for some hot shite. Not only does Mr. Deewreck have a MASSIVE and diverse selection of good music for you to peruse, he also did a sick remix of "how i feel" that makes me very happy in my pants. Check it out.

Note: This stuff isn't finished, and may be really bass heavy or distorted. Please email me with any questions, comments, suggestions, or complaints about bad EQing.

My music is like me. Somewhat out there, kind of dark and moody, and a little different. While I do have tendencies and preferences, generally my music is a result of messing around, trying to put the sounds in my head on my speakers, and discovering something else entirely. Not all tracks are finished, because I'm likely to change something even after I think it's done. So bear with me, and enjoy.
Why this name?
*Sigh* the more I type/tell the story, the cheesier it sounds to me. Go to this page and read the bio if you really want to know.
Do you play live?
Nope. Not yet, at least.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's been marvelous for exposing new artists, as well as letting the general public discover artists that might be more obscure. However, thanks to piracy and the idiocy of the RIAA, it is also an excellent scapegoat for the corporate rape of the music consumer.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Not without a damn good lawyer.
Band History:
Eh, it's all at rde.iuma.com.
Your influences?
On a grand scale, life and the people who surround me. Recreational substances. The sounds that randomly pop up in my head. It comes from all over, man. Specific artists who've influenced me: NIN, cmicali, Pantera, Hive, Aphex Twin, Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, all the anonymous geniuses behind music at clubs and raves, all the anonymous soundalikes I hear on hip-hop stations and at frat parties, whoever made the music of TOONAMI (If you're reading this, you are GOD).
Favorite spot?
London. A night at FabricLIVE changed my entire perception of music.
Equipment used:
Whatever I can get my hands on. Mostly Buzz and various softsynths and sound editors.
Anything else...?
My stuff ranges from trip-hop, to trance, to drums n' bass, to rock, to whatever the hell is coming out of my speakers at the end of the night. Songs may not be (and probably aren't) finished, and the genre may not be accurate. For example, I don't know the difference between Jungle and DnB, and I don't even know what "goa" is. The sole purpose of this page is to collect feedback, so if you have a suggestion, if you want to tell me that a song I list as UK Garage is actually Deep Techno (or whatever), if it sounds f***ed up through your speakers, or you just want to compliment/insult me, please feel free. If you are an artist and like my stuff (I know there has to be at least one person out there who likes it), I love to collaborate, so drop me a line if you want to work on something. Oh, and on a final note, I haven't mastered mastering yet. =) So watch that volume level.
