Hi! This is where I'll upload recordings of myself and occasionally myself and others. Since I'm not creative enough and lack the means to create my own songs, these will all be covers. Enjoy!
Why this name?
I got into Sailor Moon musicals for a while. The actresses who did the best job of playing Sailor Uranus and Neptune were named Nao Takagi and Yuhka Asami, respectively. They're two of my favorite actresses, so their first names got joined together and I added the fact that they RULE!!! ^__^ So yes.... that's my fun explanation!
Do you play live?
Ummm... not so much ^^;;; I've sang at a Christmas social, in school concerts, and I've been in a number of school musicals, but that's about it. Performing in front of an audience is both exhilirating and nervewracking, since I get extremely nervous!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it's amazing and makes it possible for many independent artists who'd otherwise be unable to reach people a chance! MP3s are wonderful!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, I think so ^^
Your influences?
The Beatles, Utada Hikaru, Tackey & Tsubasa, SPEED, Mai Kuraki, Kiroro, Morning Musume, MAX, Evanescence, Green Day, and numerous others whose names elude me at the moment!
Favorite spot?
Well, I haven't been to that many cities, but my favorite spot is probably underneath a big shady tree with my kitty cat and a book! Ooh especially during the fall when there're lots of bright leaves on tree limbs, the air, and the ground! ^^

In case anyone's interested, my name is Alicia, I'm 19, and I'm a Junior at UNC-Chapel Hill. I'm majoring in Asian Studies (Japanese) and hope to end up translating/interpreting and/or teaching in Japan! I hope you enjoy my recordings! ^_^
