The name came from when I was a student at a historic black college name Barber-Scotia College in Concord, North Carolina. The day of graduation the Dean of the college who was Dr. Sammie Potts asked me what was I going to do after graduation and me being a Business/Marketing Major and being good with the women and sex sells why not start an escort service and he said no for real and I was but I told him I wasn't sure. He sat me down and said to me "when you are born you have a born date right and on a tombstone when a person dies it has what a born date, a dash, and death date. He that means when that last date comes thats it and that dash in the middle represents your life. Everthing between those dates represents you and since I played b-ball alot he said thats my game tyme.
