Hello, one and all, most girls, most guys, some children of high ages! Twisted Wings is here and she's ready to blow your mind! With various genres sinking into her brain and serveral different subjects to rant about, she's ready to change the way you look at... The Internet!? o_O
Why this name?
Twisted Wings is actually the name of a Comic I wrote 5 years back for a website called Ryoga's World Order, copyright 1999 to Justin Studevan. As a treat for his site, I made him a sub comic - Twisted Wings. It was also the name of the very first song I produced on FL Studio.
Do you play live?
No, sadly, I don't perform live... YET!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
mp3s change the quality of music, and makes the sound quality more appealing to the audience, not to mention smaller sizes = love.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
You betcha. :D
Band History:
Twisted Wings was a band. It consisted of 7 kids, all white children - Except their lead singer, Carmen Jones, was black. They were known pretty well in the school, and performed just sometimes, but then, they all hit an age were their hormones were more important than their band. As the others gave up the dream of being a band, their lead singer stayed strong, and continued on with her dream to be known for something in life. One woman, one chance, unlimited changes.
Your influences?
Well, Michael Jackson got me to start singing. But the ones that made me want to keep going were Whitney Houston, Mindless Self Indulgence, Duran Duran, KMFDM, En Vougue, Blind Guardian, System of a Down and various others.
Favorite spot?
Los Angeles, I was born and raised here. ;D
Equipment used:
I use FL Studio, Artica Edition.
Anything else...?
I love feedback and critizism! It helps me alot. Also, if you're a bit shy about making public critiques, just drop me a line on AIM, with my screen name Way Past Poor. Ciao and harts! <3
