Chris Becker is a southern gospel singer, songwriter, and comedian.
Why this name?
Christopher was way too long... plus, it always makes me think I'm in trouble!
Band History:
As a bass singing prodigy in the 1970s for San Francisco quartets Richard and the Redeemed, the Echoes of Pentecost, and the Gazowsky Family, he often shared the stage with the Lanny Wolfe Trio, the Hemphills, and the Hoppers.
He later began writing and performing Contemporary Christian Music, Christian Bluegrass, and Praise Music.
As a member of the Calvary Chapel, Costa Mesa musicians fellowship under Alwyn Wall and Peter Jacobs, Chris was an early member of what became the Maranatha!Praise Singers.
Chris is also a former Hollywood stand up comic, and is a produced playwright.
