Why this name?
Yes, it’s "saint" spelled backwards.

Saintly: virtuous, righteous, moral, pure.
Three people out to make the world a better place through their words, music and actions.

Backwards: twisted, inside out, reversed.
Because conventional thought and religion might not describe our music, ideas and lifestyles as saintly.

Heavenly vocal harmonies and ringing guitars.
Searching lyrical tales of life, relationships, discovery, denial, lessons learned and truths forgotten.

Driving rhythms and a heavy bottom.
Because it ain’t rock’n’roll and it ain’t real
without a little hell.
Do you play live?
Not too often as a full band, but occasionally you'll get lucky. Arjuna's solo schedule can be found at: www.arjunagreist.com
Marty's schedule can be found here on soundclick. Type in Marty Helly in the band search.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes it possible to make direct artist to fan contact without tons of layers of overhead and intermediaries. This means it is possible to find infinite variety in music, but also makes finding new artists you'll love like finding a needle in a haystack.

Sites like soundclick make finding the needle easier.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only if we wrote the contract.
Anything else...?
If you like what you hear - there's a lot more on the "Odd Numbers" CD. You can find it on CDBaby or www.arjunagreist.com

It sounds better when played without the mp3 compression also!
