The name "chantz" aka "Chantz Kacey" comes from the fact that its something that everyone wants in one way or another. Why this name?
I always wanted to express my feelings on music through my name. In this industry you have to be different, you have to take risk, and you have to take chances.

I'll perform where ever i can. I love to do it. And everytime i pick up a mic i try to make it a special moment!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Mp3's online are ground breaking. They allow people from anywhere to here you and puts your music out there to the masses!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Ofcourse and thats what im aiming for right now! As a matter of fact failing to do so isn't even an option!!!

Your influences?
Im an r&b artist but i grew up in the church so i naturally have a gospel vibe, but mixed with r&b and gospel artist i grew up listening to such as Tank, Boyz to men, take 6, john pee kee, kim burell, brian mcknight, daryl coley and even jamie foxx!
Favorite spot?
my favorite city is my hometown York, pennsylvania, but i also lived in Virginia beach and i love it there as well, however there's no place like home!
Equipment used:
My younger brothers are some of the best producers in music today. They can play just about any instrument.
