B13 aka Bakers Dozen! Consisting of just 2 members, Me (Phobia) and Pikey. At the moment we're just messing about with a few ideas and putting our life into songs. We're open to collabs on songs, just send a message with details and we'll let you know if it's something we'd be interested in. We are from Bradford in the UK. If you would like to contact us about anything then don't hesitate to do so.
Why this name?
We wanted to do a 50 Pence style thing, and just rip off songs from D12 for comedy value. So the name B13 Bakers Dozen (A Bakers Dozen is an amount, 13 is that amount) was the name we choose. Even though the idea of ripping off D12 died, the name didn't and we've been stuck with it since.
Do you play live?
We have done one sort of live performance at Pikey's 18th where we did Gonna Be Good To You on a kareoke system! It was cool and everyone loved it.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It helps and it hinders the industry. For major label mainstream artists its a bad thing due to piracy decreasing soundscan. But for artists like us who do not have any other means of letting people hear our music its a god send!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yea, i mean if i'm doing this for fun and i can get paid for it too, why the hell not. I would never sign a solo deal though, it's B13 or nothing!
Band History:
Once upon a time, not so far away (just kidding!)

In the common room at TYM 6th Form Bradford, one day, i decided that i want to make some music for a laugh. The only person stupid and crazy enough to agree with me was Pikey. So we started throwing ideas around and eventually decided to do a rip off band of D12 and make comedy versions of their songs, like 50 Pence does with 50 Cent. Everyone just laughed at the idea and thats as far as it went. A few years later we decided to do our own original material and here we are now, making our own songs! We just expected for people to laugh at us again but we have been very shocked at the response we have gotten! People seem to actually like us!
