AvMo has been writing his own music since 1976.

In 2004 he was a Finalist in the the VH1 International Songwriting contest for Adult Contemporary music:

Why this name?

Alas with BigMo taken by various artists, Morris went for the simple AvMo (last name/first name combo).

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

Bands cannot last for a long time today as there is so much indie music available. On the other hand, music lovers have more choice than ever.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Anytime.

Your influences?

I am very influenced by the 70's. Thus my influences are the Stones, Aerosmith, April Wine, Queen and Styx. My music changes styles and genre from song to song.
