I'm coming with a new sound, crazy drums...the whole nine.
Why this name?
Just a name that's stuck with me since beatboxing and freestyling.
Do you play live?
Whenever.....
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It helps smaller artist/bands to get better exposure. There's alot of big names out there that owe alot to the internet.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah.
Band History:
I use to be a textcee back in the late 90's but never got on the mic besides freestyling with my boys. Now I got the equipment to put some material together and I'm ready to bring something new to the table.
Your influences?
I'm coming with a different sound but I do have alot of influences though. As far as producers: Jay Dilla, Kanye West, 9th Wonder, DJ Premier and alot of 70's/80's funk. Funkadelic, Sly and the Family Stone, Slave, Brothers Johnson, James Brown. I dig Jazz too. Bill Evans, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Coltrane, alot more.
Lyricist:
Canibus, Big Pun, Wu-Tang, Redman, Method Man, Planet Asia, Thirstin Howl III, Common, Eminem, Talib Kweli, Heltah Skeltah, Dilated Peoples, Royce Da 5'9, Wordsworth, Ras Kass, Pharoahe Monch, Little Brother, Justus League, alot of underground heads (some already listed). Man the list goes on.
