Marcus "Mholla" Balcom, a born and raised Chicago native is on his way to staking a solid claim as one of hip-hop's elite producers. With his unique approach, creative sound and passion for the love of music, he sets himself apart from all but a chosen few. Mholla got his start back in grammar school when he discovered his passion from performing, writing music, dancing and rhyming.
During his Jr. High and High School years, Mholla teamed with best friend and fellow producer/engineer Nate. From then on, things began to move fast as the two took the hobby of playing around with the keyboards and instruments more seriously, eventually opening a recording studio and starting a company.
Mhollas' unique style of writing varies from Rap, R&B and even Alternative and Rock music. With years of creative writing, Mholla has vowed to accomplish his dream of working in the music industry.
