DJ Wicked
NEWS
I started writing for my new album... my new stuff is leaning a lot more towards techno/industrial and had lots of piano, provided be me. It'll be swell, new tracks should be up in a few weeks. Also, broke my arm, so ignore any typoes.

Dance-flavoured Drum&Bass, provided courtesy of Matt Mongrain, the one guy in DJ Wicked who does everything from bass to beats. I've been given *rave* reviews from everyone who has listened to my stuff. Listen to it, and find out why.
Why this name?
Well, originlly me and some friends had taken a blank sheet of paper and just scribbled anything that came into our heads. Afterwards, we went into Listen.Com to see which names hadn't been picked yet. My first choice, 'Next of Kin', was taken, but thankfully, DJ Wicked was not. *THAT* surprised me... I mean, there are DJ's with names like 'Carbunkell' and 'smithovoe' but no 'Wicked'?
Do you play live?
Not at the moment. Right now it's a question of budget... any 10 000$ donations would be greatly appreciated ;-)
If you make it big..?
I will laugh in the faces of my former band, who never said I could. Then, I will buy a popsicle for everyone in the world (I did the math, around 30 000 000$... Bill Gates could pay that out of his back pocket so don't you be tellin' me it's not possible. And yes, if I had thirty million dollars I really would buy a popsicle for everyone)
Band History:
Bio, eh? Well, early '98 me and sone friends decided to form a band. Long story short, we sucked. But I wasn't that bad, and kept writing songs myself, on my PC and keyboard. I submitted my music to MP3.com, and very soon my first track made it to #1 on the regional charts. That made me really happy, so I released three more tracks, which also went on to hit #1 on the regional charts. I am releasing my first album, Euphemism, through MP3.com on the fifth of October, 1999, which also happens to be my birthday.
Your influences?
Propellerheads, Moby, Orbital, Nine Inch Nails (don't ask), and trance[]control for proving to me that you don't have to be rich to make it big
Favorite spot?
Wherever I currently am.
Equipment used:
CakeWalk, Hammerhead and Anvil Studio. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, for my entire studio I paid less that 100$. It can be done.
