Check back often for updates. Dave(lead guitar), Dave(drums), mike(bass), Steve(guitar), and hopefully a keyboard player soon, and dont forget me at the mic. Name to be announced later...And now some old news.... The Crack of Dawn was something thrown together last summer('04) just to have fun and do open mics.

READ A REVIEW!!
Hey Dawn,
so nice of you to come over & introduce yourself, I'm listening to 'I'm a woman' right now & I'm enjoying it very much, your voice cut through straight away & I love to hear a live session with plenty of fire, you sing with your guts right in it and that's impressive, keep on doing what you do, I hate to read discouraging comments and that one here on your board by fretless is not only unkind but it doesn't make any sense either, this is a live session and girl you can sing, I like your attitude when you say you just want to enjoy the live work, well some can sing in a studio (where any amount of takes is ok) but can't cut it live, you do a great job & obviously entertain a packed house & ad-libbing and improvisation is clever stuff & you have the goods, rock on!!! LOUD applause here for you, take care & best wishes.

Why this name?
We were just roughly rehearsing one night before open mic down at Bubba Mac shack in somers point, and Al, one of the guitar players said, We're either gonna be the crack of dawn or the break of dawn. With my personality, I immediately went for the crack of Dawn.
Do you play live?
I try to get out and play live as much as possible. with friends, open mics, wherever.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No, I don't want to work that hard!
Favorite spot?
Bubba Mac Shack somers point in the Attic or anywhere my friends 100 PROOF BAND are!
Anything else...?
