Hailing from California's hottest music scene, this Central Valley quartet is making waves every time they play. With an original approach to the redundant metal scene, BUILT is constantly in demand for shows and making new fans every venue that they perform at. Some people have automatically presumed that they know what BUILT is going to sound like, based on vocalist Bryan Strait's previous death metal efforts in IMMORTALITY, or guitarist Mike Vercammen's former band ELEGY. These people couldn't be more wrong, as BUILT has developed a style of music that has made fans that range in age, literally, from eight to eighty year olds, and is not uncommon to see a large group of attractive young women dancing and singing along with the music as a huge pit of raging moshers circles behind them.

While playing heavily in the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento and Central Valley regions, BUILT has also begun playing in the Los Angeles and San Diego areas, even performing as weekend headliners for a ripping show at the world famous Whiskey A Go-Go. With a live performance that easily matches their musical intensity, BUILT has been known to leave crowds screaming for more. Even more impressive is that the band not only performs at such a high level of intensity, but also keeps this level through periods of playing anywhere from ten to fifteen shows a month.
