Bob Wisenor - Bio

BOB WISENOR

After years of success writing everthing, singing his songs and mangaing his own rock band that with lack of a better last name would be his namesake, he proudly fronts,
Regulation Planet, that has opened for all the huge Rock Bands that have passed thru Pittsburgh (Bon Jovi twice - Motley Crue twice - Def Leppard twice - The Scorpions - Trixter - Great White - The Goo Goo Dolls - Ratt - Poison - La. Guns - etc..)

Bob Wisenor decided to take the oppurtunity to show his Country roots.

Growing up on George Jones, Conway Twitty, Merele Haggard, Willie Nelson and Charlie Daniels, Bob decided to write and record some songs just for himself (and Maybe his Dad) with nothing to gain but personal satisfaction.

Forget the record labels!
Forget Genre labels!
Ok, Yeah! He is best known as the big shot rocker with the big hair and the nucleus of Regulation Planet, the big shot with band that he runs with the big resume but, forget all that...
This is for him...

Give it a chance?
If you dont like it? Thats cool! Its not for you. Its for him!

Maybe you will like it?

If not? It still feels good!

This is just for him!

Why this name you may ask him?

"Bob Wisenor is my name. It's time."

Songs produced by Dave Granati, Bob Wisenor

Why this name?
Bob Wisenor is my name.
Do you play live?
I have played everywhere without ever being famous for real..... yet!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Big help.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
YES!
Band History:
I am going back to my roots!

But here is my story....

A little bit of PLANET history:

Singer-Songwriter Bob Wisenor formed the band REGULATION PLANET in 1997 to take his songs from his dark basement to the darker clubs and bars of Pittsburgh. He mixes "80's Infectious hooks" with "Superb Pop Rock songs" played with "Heavy Metal guitars!" After years of slugging it out in the trenches and beer swamps of the Pittsburgh area, they have climbed their way to the second stage on the same bill as Bon Jovi in '01 and other great bands like Def Leppard, Poison, Ratt, Motley Crue, Creed, The Goo Goo Dolls, SR51, Great White, La Guns, The Scorpions and 40FtRingo (featuring Steve and PJ from Trixter) They just recently played the same bill again for Bon Jovi July 24, 2003 at the Post-Gazette Pavillion. Regulation Planet is from Pittsburgh Pa. in an area called Moon Twp. Regulation Planet can be seen regularly at The Hard Rock Cafe Pittsburgh. With 5,000 plays on Unsignedbandweb.com and pushing 6,000 on Funender.com, Regulation Planet has proven they are loved from Pennsylvania to any point on the globe!
