Well Howdy! Im Ant McEwan!
Why this name?
Well its my nickname. My real name is Anthony McEwan-Bell, but I thought that was too long. People call me Ant anyway so I just shortened my last name and bingo, got the name.
Do you play live?
Nah not yet. I was in a band once which were going to be playing live at brighton's concorde2 punk rocks gig, however, the band broke up only weeks before that.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well it can swing both ways really. For unsigned artists, its great because they can advertise their stuff. For established bands it could be bad because then no one buys their cds, they just download them.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Oh yeah. As long as the right deal came along at the right time.
Band History:
Feb. 2002 - In a band which had no name which lasted all of about 2 weeks. I was meant to be the vocalist.
Aug. 2002 - Joined another band as vocalist. I forgot the name of the band but they were a great bunch of guys. Just a shame they all had a problem with each other and we broke up 6 weeks before our first ever gig.
Jan. 2004 - begun making my own music on the computer, made a few tracks then gave up.
Aug. 2004 - Made a brand new track "Subliminal Criminal" and begun working on new songs as a one man band.

Your influences?
Limp Bizkit are probably my main influence in music. They are my favourite band, mixing rock with rap and hip hop to make a totally new sound. Thats what I try to go for in my music too. Another influence would be Linkin Park, for the same reason. Other influences are Disturbed and Drowning Pool for their heavy rock anthems.
Anything else...?
Well, Im getting bored of the whole "one man band" thing Im doing at the moment. So i want to join another band. If there is a band in the brighton area who needs a vocalist, Im free! So any help would be much appreciated.
