It comes as no surprise that the tightest cats don't have record deals. Time and time again, we see cats blow up and instead of opening the door for real talent, they put their boys on, there's a lot to say for loyality, but loyalty doesn't always equal talent (which probably explains why 99.9% of these affiliate crews fail outside of St. Louis). Major label after major label comes through, and often times picks the crew that's flossin' the most, but not necessarily, the hottest...but every now and then somebody steps up to the plate to hold it down for the grind and hustle cats in the Lou...

Band History:
#1 Draft Picks started out on mp3.com as Digital Yang, the second project was called Steppin Out the Midwest, #1 Draft Picks is the follow up.

Anybody who came out the Lou, from back in the day with Ike & Tina Turner, Fats Domino, Miles Davis, up to today with Nelly, the Tics & Chingy.
