Do you play live?
I play out live with reggae fusion band The Moot. We have been gigging frequently since August 2005. I love playing live and go Busking and play pub gigs and parties. If you would like to book The Moot for your party or wedding please email themoot@hotmail.co.uk
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it means labels are no longer needed to distribute music. the on-line digital revolution is here and its massive. I think listening habits are changing and the way we collect and store music. i no longer collect CD's, instead I collect MP3's. the i-pods and mp3 players are the new CD/vinyl collections.
People are creating their own Channels now (myspace, youtube, music blogs, Sound Click, Podcasts) and relying less and less on record labels to source their music. With friends sharing mainstream music on hard-drives indie artists find it harder to compete with that and instead pool their energy and resources into their own Channels. The Channels connect to each other and feed eachother, some of them growing very big. I've stumbled across some very inspiring music and videos on the internet and met some great people. It's a very exciting time to be involved in music.
